Power Scrapbooking

途中リタイアしたチャレンジ、Power Scrapbooking。Digital Scrapbook Placeでメンバー主催で先月から月1で行われているんですが、性懲りもせずに、今月も参加しました。これは、５日で１０枚レイアウトを仕上げようという物。１日１時間を目標に、毎日作業が決まっています。

1.　フォルダーを１０個作る。それぞれのレイアウトで使う写真を決めてそれぞれのフォルダーにいれる。これで１日目はおしまい。

2.　それぞれのレイアウトに使うバックグラウンドになるペーパー、または色を選ぶ。ついでにフォトマット用のペーパーまたは色も選んでそれぞれのフォルダーへ入れる。

3.　それぞれのエンベリッシュメント、レイアウトのスタイルを選んで決めておくか、それぞれのフォルダーに入れる。タイトルも決めてテキストファイルにしてフォルダーに入れるか、タイトルのエンベリッシ

ュメントまたはワードアートを決めてフォルダーに入れる。

4.　それぞれのファイルの中身を今度はフォトエディティングソフトのレイヤーファイルへ、ドラッグアンドドロップで移していく。ただ、中身を移すだけで、レイアウトそのものはまだ作らない。この日に使いたいスケッチがあればそれを決めておくのも良い。

5.　レイアウトを仕上げる。なるべく時間をかけないこと。一つのレイアウトに行き詰ったらとりあえず次のを仕上げて後で戻ってきて仕上げる。ジャーナルのスペースを空けておくのも忘れずに。一通りレイアウトができたらジャーナルを仕上げる。

というのがルールです。1～4日目はスムーズに行くんですが5日目がね～。作り出すとやっぱり、ああでもない、こうでもないっていろいろいじりだしてと～っても時間がかかるんです。でも、今回は仕上げました！！2日予備が（計7日）あったこともあって気持ち的にも余裕が持てた感じ。終わったあとの達成感、大です。

　　　　

　　　

 　　　

　　　

　　　

1. Easter Eggs hunting

This year, Courtney was big enough to join the fun. She didn’t know what to do in the beginning, but as soon as we told her to go get the eggs, she understood quickly. She didn’t care about how many eggs she got but she wanted to get the “pink” eggs. Kenji and Cody did pretty well too. There was no fighting or crying over who got the eggs faster. It was a really fun event.

At Caleb’s birthday party, one of the boys started to call Cody a baby. Everyone thought it was funny and started to tease Cody. Daddy told them to stop calling him a baby, but the boy didn’t stop it. Then we heard Kenji stand up for Cody. He said, “Will you stop calling my brother a baby? Or I’ll tell on you!” Then… The boy shut up. Even daddy couldn’t stop him, but Kenji could. You were Cody’s hero today.

8. Deal ’em!

In our family, we have a tradition playing porker whenever family gets together. This thanksgiving holiday wasn’t an exception. When we got back from the holiday trip, we told the boys to play in their bedroom while we were unloading the stuff from the car. When we were done, we found them playing poker (or, they thought they were). They even had baseball caps and sunglasses on!
